messages I have registered my cable address in the shameen "hinese Telegraph Office the word "Henry Canton" which you can use in cabling me whenever. I know all the people of the Chinese Telegraph office here and they will deliver me to any address at Shameen or to my house in future, when signing names for sender I would ask you to use another name either Mackdonalt or Robertson ect in order to prevent your names appeared in the Colony.

Now my dear Mr Duncan I have to close my letter and hope that you will go on everything in the order since now, in the meantime we will get over all the troublesome. How are you enjoying yourself in London and how is your Yrs Duncan?
